Continental

Knitting in the Continental method rocks! Whenever I saw someone on the train knitting, I always wondered why there was such a huge difference in the way they were knitting and the way I was knitting (not on the train). The people on the train would finish a row in about 1 minute - with smooth and fluid motions. Me, I'd be fumbling and jerking yarn around, and it would take a lot longer for me to complete a row. Silly me, I thought there was only one way of knitting. My friend had taught me how to knit when I was in high school, but in the English method. Now that I know how to do Continental, I smell a renewed interest in knitting again. Uh oh!

This is a great site to learn how to knit in the Continental method. Pictures and words just don't do it..video is the way to go~
